53rd Anniversary Celebration, Governor Asks Bankaltimtara to be Leading and Priority

The Regional Development Bank (BPD) of East Kalimantan or which has now been renamed PT Regional Development Bank of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan (Bankaltimtara) must be the foremost and priority in capital and finance in the region. This was confirmed by East Kalimantan Governor Dr H Isran Noor at the Bankaltimtara 53rd Anniversary reception on the 6th floor of PT BPD Kaltim Katara, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Street Samarinda, Monday (15/10).

According to him, entrepreneurs and business people must further enhance cooperation with Bankaltimtara regarding business development and capital in East Kalimantan. "It is appropriate for businessmen and business partners to prioritize cooperation with Bankaltimtara in terms of finance and capital with guaranteed facilities," he said.

Isran greatly appreciated the performance of the Bankaltimtara ranks which are currently advancing and developing quite rapidly. Evidently, this regional government-owned bank has been present in 103 sub-districts or 100 percent built in financial service networks in all sub-districts in East Kalimantan. Whereas Kaltara reached 88.89 percent or the remaining 16 sub-districts that had not yet been built as sub-branch offices. "Bankaltimtara must continue to serve and serve by providing the best service to the community as well as a source of income for the local government," he hoped.

The theme of the 53rd anniversary of East Kalimantan BPD and Bankaltimtara's first anniversary in 2018 is the theme of the Joint Steps to Building the Country.

The regional heads of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan, private leaders and BUMN / BUMD as well as business people, head of Kancab Bankaltimtara and leaders of banking institutions in East Kalimantan.

The anniversary of the Anniversary was marked by cutting the cake by the Managing Director of Bankaltimtara handed over to Governor Isran Noor then given to the Governor of the 2008-2018 period Dr. H Awang Faroek Ishak.
