Attend Socialization OJK, Plt Bupati Kukar Submit Saving Book

Acting Kutai Kartanegara Regent (Kukar) Regent Edi Damansyah attended the Socialization of Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the signing of the Savings Savings Cooperation Agreement (Simple) and Agent of Smart Duty, in the football field Kembang Janggut, Thursday (14/12/2017 ) then.

Meanwhile, from Bankaltimtara ranks also attended the Board of Directors Bankaltimtara Sulaiman Gafur, President Director of Bankaltimtara Zainudin Fanani, and Head of OJK Kaltim Dwi Arianto.

In addition to socialization, the signing of Simple savings cooperation and smart agents, as well as the submission of passbooks to student representatives submitted by the Regent of Kukar Edi Damansyah.

Head of OJK Kaltim Dwi Arianto in his speech said that OJK was established based on Law number 21 of 2011, with the aim that all the financial services sector can be organized in a regular, safe order and accountable.

"And the most important is the establishment of OJK consumer financial services community," said Dwi Arianto.

Dwi further explains the function of OJK as an arrangement, oversight of the financial services sector, whether it is a bank, or a non-bank financial industry such as insurance, financial institutions or other financial services institutions.

Why financial institutions should be overseen and regulated by OJK, according to Dwi Arianto because financial services institutions have a very strategic role as a financial intermediary institution that has the task of raising public funds and channeling back to the community.

Meanwhile, Plt Bupati Edi Damansyah hopes with the signing of Simple program and smart agent, is part of how to convey to the public especially to children of early age, how important to save.
