Bankaltim Received Best GCG Award In Indonesia GCG Award II 2016

Located at Ballroom Balai Kartini Jl. Jend. Gatot Subroto Kav. 37 South Jakarta, (7/12) BPD Kaltim again won an award organized by Economic Review in the framework of Indonesia GCG Award II 2016.

The Regional Development Bank of East Kalimantan represented by Andi Hadiwijaya as Compliance Director won the Award in the category of BUMD Company with the best GCG in Indonesia and obtained Good Predicate (B). This awards event is the highest appreciation award given to Companies that have GCG in Indonesia, it is assessed from across several sectors of National Enterprise Industry in Indonesia.

Prior to this award, BPD Kaltim has received 3 awards which are also held by Economic Review, which is Bank with the best Core Capital, Rank 1 CSR in Grace Banking Indonesia V and Best Banking IT. The award winners are divided into several categories: Private, Tbk, BUMN, BUMD, BPD, BPR, etc.

Through this award, it is expected that the Company will be encouraged to improve its achievement and its important role in the implementation of GCG practice in Indonesian Company. GCG itself is an acronym of Good Corporate Governance is a series of processes, customs, policies, rules, and institutions that affect the direction, management, and control of a company or corporation.

Corporate governance also includes the relationship between the involved stakeholders and the company's management objectives. The main parties in corporate governance are shareholders, management, and board of directors. Other stakeholders include employees, suppliers, customers, banks and other creditors, regulators, the environment, and the wider community. GCG is needed to encourage the creation of an efficient, transparent and consistent market with laws and regulations. This is what makes GCG in the management of the company needs to be developed and appreciated.
