Bankaltim Use Medsos for Product Service Promotion

Dozens of employees of the Regional Development Bank (BPD) of East Kalimantan or Bankaltim, appear to seriously follow the Socialization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Use of Website, Microsite, and Social Media (Socmed). Socialization was held since three days ago and ended Thursday (30/6/2016 ).

"Our first title in Balikpapan, Tarakan and last in the Head Office, Samarinda," said Abdul Haris Salihin, Leader Corporate Secretariat BPD Kaltim.
The rapid development of medsos, said Haris, should be utilized to convey information about BPD Kaltim. "Today, if not optimizing medsos, we will miss," he said again.

According to Haris, during this BPD Kaltim rely more on branding and dissemination of information about the company's service products through conventional media. "Now we try to convince between conventional media and medsos," he said. In addition to being effective, the use of social media for information dissemination is very cost-efficient. "Let's advertise on television, newspapers, billboards, and all the money, while through medsos it only needs quotas," he said.

The number of employees of organic and non-organic BPD Kaltim which is around 3,000 people so great potential for the dissemination of positive corporate information. "I asked employees, it turns out that there are friends up to 3,000 people on one platform medsosnya.While one person there have up to 7 platforms medsos.Thus, positive information company can be viral," he explained.

The employees who participated in this socialization came from the Customer Prospect Unit as well as the HR and General Units. "Within three days we can socialize this to all branches in Kaltim and Kaltara, hoping that these socialization participants can convey information obtained from here to their branches and units," said Haris.
However, Haris also reminded employees to wisely use medsos. "It can be a lot of benefit and can be a lot of harm too, especially with the IT Law and Hate Speech circulation, so we ask wise employees to use medsos for corporate and personal branding," said Haris.
