Bankaltim Wins Indonesian Banking Awards 2016

BPD Kaltim or Bankaltim successfully won the Indonesian Banking V 2016 (APBI V 2016) award, held by Economic Review Magazine in cooperation with Perbanas Institute. The Indonesian Banking Awards 2016 is a form of appreciation of the highest appreciation to the banks in Indonesia, whether Private Banks, BUMN Banks, Sharia Banks and Regional Development Banks (BPDs) which have succeeded in increasing significant contribution to business development, capital market, investment and economy in Indonesia.

This activity is an annual event that is regularly held as a form of appreciation to banking companies that have contributed to the Indonesian economy.

The purpose of digelarnya Anugerah Perbankan Indonesia is a tribute to the company's performance growth (delta growth) achieved in 2015.

The award was received by Jakarta Branch Chief Bashir Alhamdani representing the Board of Directors of BPD Kaltim in a gala dinner, at Balai Kartini Building, Jakarta, Thursday (13/10/2016). The event was attended by the President Director, Commissioners, Board of Directors and Management of prestigious banking actors in Indonesia with the theme "Indonesia Banking Outlook & Opportunity 2017", expected economic growth of Indonesian banking in 2017 will show improvement.

East Kalimantan BPD is ranked as the fourth best bank of book category II with assets of between Rp 10 trillion and Rp 25 trillion, which is achieved with the acquisition of Rank I in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the First Rank in the field of Information & Technology.

The acceptance of the award in the midst of economic conditions filled with uncertainty and high risk, is a proof of BPD Kaltim able to maintain its performance well on October 14, 20165 has been the age of 51 years. This award is also a testament to the hard work and synergy of all the administrators and staff of BPD Kaltim and will certainly be the motivation to remain the best in the following years.
