Bankaltimedia Gets Gold Winner InMA 2017

BPD Kaltim again won the award at The 6Th SPS Indonesia Inhouse Magazine Awards (InMA) 2017. The award was handed over by Minister of Communication and Informatics (Menkominfo) Rudiantara to Corporate Secretary of BPD Kaltim, Abdul Haris Sahilin, at Millenium Hotel, Central Jakarta, Friday / 2/2017) night.

This is the second time Bankaltimedia (Internal Magazine BPD Kaltim) won an InMA award. In 2016 then won Bronze. While this year won Gold for the category of "The Best of Regional Own Enterprise Inhouse Magazine". The cover design of Bankaltimedia magazine that won Gold is edition 56 (April-May 2016) with the theme: Agent of Change - Spirit 6C Bankaltim.

The cover design depicts a mosque on the edge of the sea. This is reminiscent of every employee of Bankaltim to always be in the spirit of work and remember to the Creator, "said R. Ahmad Djauhar Chairman of the Daily Press Company (SPS) met on the sidelines of the awards night which took place on Friday (3/2/2017) in Jakarta said "competition and awards IPMA, InMA, IYRA, and ISPRIMA believed to be able to stimulate the birth of cover art Creatives that are relevant to their target audience. Meanwhile, Executive Director of SPS Asmono Wikan who also attended the awards night said, although the quantitative side of the cover entries this year has decreased, but the quality of the cover-cover looks very seriously worked on. Furthermore Asmono appreciated the cover-cover of the participants who managed to attract the attention of the jury. "Even in the category of ISPRIMA for the student press sprang up creative ideas that are beyond the expectations of the jury," he explained.

Compared to 2016, the number of internal corporate / institutional magazine entries fell by 22%. InMA 2017 only packs 142 entries, far from last year's 188 entries. Despite the downfall, the jury agreed to give credit to the work of the incoming works. More innovative, courageous, and wanting to be different from before. This year the jury consists of Ndang Sutisna (creative ideas on IPMA, IYRA, and InMA), Oscar Motuloh (Photo journalism for IPMA and IYRA), Nina Armando (Mass Communications for IPMA, IYRA, and InMA).

Then Ika Sastrosoebroto (PR-an for InMA), Suharjo Nugroho (Branding for IPMA, IYRA, and InMA), Danu Kusworo (Photo journalism for InMA and ISPRIMA), Nasihin Masha (Journalism for ISPRIMA), and Asmono Wikan (Ide Creative and design for ISPRIMA and InMA). They assessed 792 cover entries and rubrics coming from 118 print media throughout Indonesia, 48 corporations and institutions, as well as 30 public and private universities throughout Indonesia.

With this award, said Abdul Haris, increasing the image of BPD Kaltim in internal and external circles. "This award is dedicated to all BPD East Kalimantan employees, especially the magazine contributors.
