Bankaltimtara Expected to Boost Economy at the Border

The existence of the Regional Development Bank (BPD) or better known as Bankaltimtara, is a manifestation of building a more equitable economy on Benuanta Earth.

Chairman of the North Kalimantan DPRD Marthen Sablon said, as the youngest province in Indonesia, the economy will certainly continue to grow.

The change in the new identity of the red-plated bank is expected to be able to provide optimal banking services to be enjoyed by the people of Kaltara. Including being able to reduce inflation or rising prices in all sectors, "he told the Bulungan Post on Wednesday (8/7).

He continued, the community believed that Bankaltimtara was able to show a commitment to develop the economy to remote areas. Especially the area that is directly adjacent to neighboring countries as evidenced by providing banking services.

"Bankaltimtara has become one of the BPDs that has the widest operational area coverage in Indonesia. One of the challenges that must be faced by Bankaltimtara is geographical challenges. Including building office networks in national borders, which are initially impossible to become a reality," he explained.

By increasing the economy at the border, he hoped, the economy which had previously been to neighboring countries, slowly began to shift to banking in Indonesia. "For the community together with the local government this is a matter of pride," he concluded. (Prokal.co)
