Bankaltimtara Office Network 100 Percent Present in All Districts in East Kalimantan

PT East Kalimantan Regional Development Bank (Kaltara) (Bankaltimtara) re-inaugurated the office network. This time, the cash office was inaugurated in Tabalar District, Berau Regency, Thursday (12/27/2018).

The presence of the cash office in Tabalar Subdistrict at the end of 2018 improved the physical presence of the Bankaltimtara office, in all sub-districts in Bumi Etam (as the East Kalimantan Province).

The inauguration of the operation of the Cash Office, which was equipped with ATM, was conducted by Berau Assistant II, HM Mansyah Kelana, Chairman of the Berau Syarifatul Syadiah Regional Parliament, and Bankaltimtara Managing Director, Zainuddin Fanani.

Representing the District Head of Tabalar, Head of Community Empowerment, District of Tabalar, Amran expressed the appreciation of the community, especially the village apparatus, for the operation of the cash office.

Thus, said Amran, the village apparatus no longer had to go to the Regency Capital, Tanjung Redeb, to simply disburse government aid funds to the village.

"Usually, the village government must go to overnight at Tanjung Redeb if they want to withdraw village funds. With the presence of the bank office here, it is not necessary anymore," Amran said.

The presence of the Bankaltimtara cash office, Amran acknowledged, would minimize the security risks that could befall the village government, during the disbursement process. "There are just a few of our colleagues who are snatched on the road," said Amran.

Meanwhile, Assistant II of the Berau District Military Office, Amran said, Tabalar District consists of six villages.

Each village receives development funds of around Rp 3 billion each year.

"There is a Village Fund from the State Budget, there is an ADK (allocation of village funds) from the District Budget, and other aid funds," Mansyah explained.

According to Mansyah, these funds will be distributed entirely through Bankaltimtara.

"Yes, because Bankaltimtara already exists in all sub-districts. Not to mention employee salaries, we will all miss Bankaltimtara, so that people can easily withdraw," Mansyah said.

More than that, Mansyah hopes that the presence of Bankaltimtara can lift the economy of the Tabalar community. It is known, Tabalar has potential as a tourist route in Berau.

"This is a tourist route. There are Bidukbiduk, hot water, the tomb of the king of nature, and others. So people can use this bank to develop businesses," he explained.

In line with the Chairman of the Berau DPRD, Syarifah Syadiah also said that the community in the village needed facilities to disburse development funds. "So, there are no more obstacles to development," he said.

Bankaltimtara President Director, Zainuddin Fanani said, Bankaltimtara has 18 office networks in Berau Regency. Meanwhile, the number of sub-districts in Berau is only 13.

"So there are more than five. But it is Bankaltimtara's duty as an agent of development," he said.

Building office networks in remote areas, said Zainuddin, has become an obligation of Bankaltimtara as a development agent. Building this kind of cash office, Zainuddin continued, requires an investment of more than Rp. 1 billion. "Our role as an agent of development is what we uphold. Not just business," Zainuddin said.

Zainuddin also invited the public not to hesitate to utilize the various facilities owned by Bankaltimtara.

Because the bank is owned by the East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan provincial governments, along with the regencies / cities in it.

Berau Regency Government, said Zainuddin, was listed as the third largest shareholder in Bankaltimtara.

The total capital participation of the Berau Regency Government reached Rp 304 billion.

"As a BUMD, this (present in remote and remote sub-districts) forms our support for the government. So that the money from the Regency flows to the sub-district, especially in the village there are companies. From this village the money will flow to various regions," Zainuddin said. (*)
