Bankaltimtara Penetrates the Interior with the Community of 1000 Teachers in Samarinda

Bankaltimtara has collaborated with the Samarinda Teachers Community in 3 years to assist education in the interior of East Kalimantan in accordance with the motto "Advancing Kalimantan, Building Indonesia" Bankaltimtara will continue to support and synergize with 1000 Samarinda Teachers in the development in education.

To commemorate National Education Day, Bankaltimtara works with 1000 Samarinda Teachers in the .traveling & amp; teaching. This program is held in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The program location is in Pondok Labu Village, Loa Ipuh Darat Village, Tenggarong Subdistrict, precisely at 026 Tenggarong Elementary School on 28-29 April 2018.

To reach the school is not easy, we have to pass the coal mine road. When it rains the road conditions are muddy and when it is hot the road conditions are dusty. Likewise the condition of the school is no less alarming. The school building looks fragile and there is damage in some parts of the school. With the flood event that had hit Pondok Labu Village, the school building looked more alarming. During the flood event, the school did not have the opportunity to save school inventory such as textbooks, reading books in the library, teaching aids and important documents in the school.

In this program, there are several teaching volunteers who provide general knowledge material about love, protecting the environment and personal hygiene and motivating them to reach their dreams for students in Pondok Labu. Bankaltimtara participated in the success of the program by providing assistance in the form of school bags to 13 students of Tenggarong Elementary School 026. In addition, the Community of 1000 Teachers of Samarinda and several other parties also provided assistance to schools in the form of teaching aids and school cleaning tools.

Bankaltimtara will always support and move with the Community of 1000 Teachers of Samarinda in helping, improving and building better quality education in the interior of East Kalimantan. Bankaltimtara will continue to move to help development, especially in the education sector in East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan and become a proud bank of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan. (*)
