Bankaltimtara Provides Two Types of KUR (Kredit Usaha Rakyat)

Bankaltimtara has launched the People's Business Credit (KUR) for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Berau District, last May.

The President Director (Director) of Bankaltimtara, Zainuddin Fanani, said that Bankaltimtara had been appointed by the Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) as one of the channels for People's Business Credit (KUR) in Indonesia.

"We have informed, as well as socializing KUR to the public. Related to the approval by the Ministry of Finance, where the quota was Rp 550 billion for East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan (Kaltara), "he told Berau Post.

He continued, this was one of the steps of his approach, with the aim of disseminating various information related to KUR, so that people could better understand.

With socialization, it is hoped that it will open access to one of the financial inclusions carried out by Bankaltimtara to all communities, especially MSMEs as a target for people's business financing.

Even though there are MSME entrepreneurs and already exist, they also need guidance from banks. Therefore, his party cooperates with local governments, to provide encouragement in the business world.

His party, said Zainuddin, provided two KUR. The first one was Rp.1 million micro to Rp.25 million. While for Retail KUR Rp. 25 million to Rp. 500 million is provided. And interest also decreased, from 9 percent, after being evaluated to 7 percent. "This is certainly to encourage small businesses to continue to increase. So with this we expect their burden to be reduced, "he explained.

Specifically for Berau, the KUR quota alone reached Rp. 55 billion, based on provisions from the Ministry of Finance. Apart from that, he wanted the UMKM players to better understand the banking world. "They can also open savings directly, we hope that with the workshop that we do, they can partner with banks by starting savings," he explained.

He added, related to this program, Bankaltimtara's breakthrough was to use a ball picking pattern to receive money from customers with technology. Thus making it easier for businesses to deposit money into accounts that they want to go to.

"So our hope is that there is a level of trust in customers, that even though outside the office they can cut time to the bank, that is, with our team going to customers. And give confidence that the money sent has arrived at the account they want to go to, "he concluded. (Prokal.co)
