BPD Kaltim Prepare Red Carpet for UMKM Performers

Regional Development Bank (BPD) of East Kalimantan became the pioneer of red carpeting, for Micro Small Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Bumi Etam (East Kalimantan term).

President Director of BPD Kaltim Zainuddin Fanani said the red carpet is intended to provide excellent service, in the form of convenience for MSMEs to get access to credit in BPD Kaltim.

"The red carpet is identical to the kings where the small people may pass on the red carpet.We're in BPD Kaltim we are behind, which can be red carpet service is MSME instead of big businessmen," said Zainuddin, after opening the Red Carpet Event for UMKM Kaltim, at BPD Head Office, Samarinda.

Currently, said Zainuddin, BPD Kaltim has a special corner of SMEs in the head office and all branch offices in the Regency / City. UMKM Corner is a special service given to the perpetrators of SMEs to get access to credit in banking. In addition, BPD Kaltim also launched a new program that Saves Students (Simple). Through Simpel, students are taught ways and lifestyle of saving. BPD Kaltim signed a partnership with 15 schools in Samarinda and surrounding areas. "We are collaborating with schools to cultivate saving as a lifestyle, early on," Zainuddin said.

Zainuddin also reminded students to make savings as part of planning the future. "Not to save money for interest, so for this simple program, we do not give flowers, but rewards in the form of material that is useful for students," said Zainuddin.
