BPD Kaltim Wins Top Bank 2017 Award

The Regional Development Bank of East Kalimantan, abbreviated to BPD Kaltim as Bankaltim, is again awarded by BusinessNews Magazine in partnership with ABRC (Asia Business Research Center), PPM Management, IFLC (Investment & Finance Learning Center), SGL Management, Melani K. Harriman & Associate, and Alvara Strategy Indonesia.

BPD Kaltim was awarded for TOP category BPD BUKU II 2017, TOP CEO of Bank 2017, and TOP Bank for Cultural Transformation of 2017. This event was held in Rafflesia Grand Ballroom - Balai Kartini Jakarta, Thursday (14/09/2017), attended by Chairman of Supervisory Board of BPD Kaltim Sulaiman Gafur and President Director of BPD Kaltim Zainuddin Fanani. Also present were Credit Director of BPD Kaltim Ismunandar Azis with Corporate Secretariat Leader Abdul Haris Sahilin, Corporate Planning Division Leader Taufik Curakhman, Head of Corporate Relations Department R. Adi Sugiarto, and Branch Chief Jakarta Bashir Alhamdhani.

TOP Bank is the highest annual award-giving activity in Indonesia given to Banking companies that have the best financial performance, products and services, and have good business prospects and contribute high in national development. This activity became one of the important momentum in the national economic development, especially to strengthen the performance and stability of national financial system and industry, in order to encourage and accelerate the development of the national economy.

President Director of BPD Kaltim Zainuddin Fanani expressed his praise and thanks to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala for the award received by BPD Kaltim. "Hopefully this will motivate all BPD Kaltim personnel in order to reach a bank position capable of becoming the National Bank in the future," said Zainuddin. "And this is an important part in order to change the form of legal entity of BPD Kaltim from Regional Company (Perusda) into Limited Liability Company (PT) Regional Development Bank of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan.
