DPRD East Kalimantan Appreciation Performance BPD East Kalimantan

Chairman of East Kalimantan Regional House of Representatives (Kaltim) HM Syahrun appreciate the performance of BPD Kaltim in terms of financial administration. It was said at the time of submission of Report of Inspection Result (LHP) on the performance of BPD Kaltim on Wednesday (28/1) at auditorium building of Audit Board (BPK) representative of East Kalimantan.

Syahrun said that the programs of BPD Kaltim have been suitable and in line with local governments, especially programs related to the vital sector of development or the education sector with the scholarship program.

"DPRD highly appreciates the performance of BPD Kaltim in financial reporting submitted to BPK. The programs made by BPD are also very energetic to the program of East Kalimantan provincial government, "he said.

BPK audit results concluded that BPD Kaltim has performed its function as agent of trust agent of development and agent service. So the BPD Kaltim includes the banks whose production and operations have been relatively efficient against other BPDs in Indonesia.

While the result of weighting on criteria using better management practices (BMP) of BPD is not yet effective to improve the regional economy in its operational area.
