Governor Harvests The Rice, The Farm Credit Assistance Disbursed from Bankaltim

The District Head of Kutai Timur (Kutim) Ismunandar accompanies the Governor of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) Awang Faroek Ishak in the activities of the rice harvest in Cipta Graha Village, Sub-district Kaubun, last Friday. (03/31/2017)
This rice harvest is a cooperation between farmers, East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Kutim District, and Regional Development Bank (BPD) East Kalimantan through the farm credit assistance.

The ranks of Regional Organization (OPD) of East Kalimantan Province, Director of the Regional Development Bank (BPD) Kaltim Zainuddin Fanani, Dandim 0909 Sangatta Lt. Col. Setyo Wibowo, the Communication Forum of the Region (FKPD), Sub-District Head Kaubun,  Farmers Group (Gapoktan) in Sub-district of Kaubun and Heads of villages in Sub-District Kaubun,  society leaders and religious leaders, also witnessed the harvest.

"Because of their love for Governor Awang Faroek villagers Cipta Graha willing to wait from morning till evening. People are very impressed because a few years ago I also accompany him to this village when going to Kaltim one to provide seedlings and agricultural tools. And On this day, he presents again in our midst, "said Regent Ismunandar in front of the people of Kaubun who attended.

Furthermore, the District Head of  Kutim Ismunandar was very grateful to Bank BPD Kaltim that has given access to finance to farmers in terms of durability of the food. And to the sub-district head Kaubun who has done a lot of coaching-farmers in Kaubun.

In addition, Ismu, greeting familiar of the Sub-district Head of  Kutim, said the grand strategy used by Kutim always rely on the agribusiness movement synergist with the governor program.

"May the presence of the Governor Awang Faroek provide motivation for people particular, in the Sub-district Kaubun and the District of Kutai Timur in general in developing agribusiness and agro-industries. Sub-districts must work together to realize the welfare of the village. Talking about East Kalimantan welfare, it should be the village first, sub-district, district, then we can talk about East Kalimantan welfare. This is of President of Indonesia Joko Widodo which I always convey how to develop from the edge, "added Ismu.

In his speech, Governor Awang Faroek explained that Indonesia is an agrarian country. Therefore, agriculture becomes the main strategy to be declared in long term development plan the region either 5 years or 10 years
Awang Faroek continued, the reason to support Ismunandar forward became the Regent of Kutim because it has the same vision for improving the regional movement of agribusiness development (Gerdabangagri) in Kutim.

"With the agribusiness movement, we want to prosper the farmers.If the peasants are prosperous, the population will also prosper," said Awang.

He said the urban community is very dependent on farmers, especially rice because rice is the staple food of the people in this country.

"Therefore, there used to be the movement that we develop agribusiness development. My struggle for 15 years to be realized in an era Alhamdulillaah Mr. Jokowi now is to build special economic zones Maloy, Batuta, Trans Kalimantan in District Kaliorang and Sangkulirang," he added

Awang Faroek is also proud of Cipta Graha village which has a high commitment to developing agriculture in a broad sense that is not only rice but there is corn, soybean, cassava, banana, cattle ranching, and fishery.
