Kawal Sempaja Samarinda Stadium will be the Pilot Project of the Non-Cash Transaction Region

The Regional Development Bank of Kaltim-Kaltara (Bankaltimtara) will make the Shopping Tourism Area at Sempaja Madya Stadium, a pilot project in the area of non-cash transactions. This is one of the ways Bankaltimtara supports the Non-Cash National Movement (GNNT) Program in Samarinda.

The planned launch of the non-cash transaction area will be carried out in the near future. To create a non-cash transaction area, Bankaltimtara cooperates with local and national startups. Later, every transaction in the shopping tourist area that only exists every Sunday morning, can be through the Pack Message application.

"The name is Unique Escort (Unique Shopping Tourism Area). Why is it unique, because the shopping can pay through the Messaging Pack application," said Bankaltimtara President Director, Zainuddin Fanani.

Bankaltimtara, said Zainuddin, deliberately cooperated with the local application Message Bungkus to develop this non-cash movement. According to Zainuddin, applications developed by local youth in East Kalimantan are not inferior to major national applications, others. "We join the local application, because we realize the potential of local entrepreneurs is not lost. Only they have not been given the opportunity to raise their brands. Now we try to bring this application. So install the application, the top up is through Bankaltimtara," Zainuddin explained.

In the GNNT Program, Zainuddin continued, banks were asked to create a non-cash transaction community. "This shopping tourism area has been running and succeeding. Later in the next few years this area will be famous as a non-cash area," he said again.

For your information, Wisbel Bankaltimtara has been launched since 2012. The location is at the entrance to the Sempaja Samarinda Stadium Stadium. At this location, Bankaltimtara installed hundreds of tents. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can sell their products without worrying about rent or cleaning fees. Everything is borne by Bankaltimtara.

Now, no fewer than 300 UMKM actors sell in locations that are packed with hundreds of residents every Sunday morning, this. In fact, many of these MSMEs have now succeeded in going up to class, with increasingly established businesses. "Many of the traders who have risen their status, from selling under tents now have shophouses. They open there and at the same time serve orders. 7 years running gives a good enough message for us to provide guidance to MSMEs," Zainuddin said.
